On December 6th we where honored with covering the wedding of Lindsay Wheeler and Mark Cairns.

Their wedding was a Christmas themed wedding held at the USC Rutledge Chapel. The coordinating, design and planning was done by Melanie Murphy with By Invitation Only and as usual she did a fantastic job.

A awesome reception followed at the Hilton Garden Inn located off of Harbison Blvd where everyone was partying until Mark and Lindsay departed to their room around 11:30.

We worked alongside Kathy Moore of Kathy Moore Photography for the very first time. We had heard many good things about her work and we were excited to finally meet and work with her. You can see some of her exceptional images from the wedding by visiting her blog.

We have been very fortunate to have nearly perfect weather for every wedding we have done this year. There have been threats of rain and of course hot hot hot days; but we fortunately have never had solid rain on a wedding day.

Well, on November 29th that changed.  Ella Nixon and Matt Firtko’s wedding was scheduled to be held out in the front drive at The Millstone at Adams Pond in Columbia, SC. We monitored the weather all week long and it started to not look good early on in the week but we continued to hope for the best. Despite our hopes it rained all day long.

When we arrived at the Millstone we were happy to see everyone in good spirits and that the rain didn’t put a damper on any of the activities. As the day continued, Robin Cannon, the wedding planner, made all necessary adjustments to the plans which initially included outdoor activities and everything went off without a hitch for what turned out to be a beautiful wedding.

Since it was raining, we knew that we had to do whatever we could to include the rain since this was a part of their day. We were also happy that our good friends Clark and Becki Berry of Clark Berry Photography were the still photographers for the day and we had a good time making the best of the situation.

Wedding at The Millstone at Adams Pond

Below is the opening segment running all the way through the end of the wedding ceremony for Paullette and Jeff’s wedding. It was a simple yet beautiful ceremony held at the Westin at Hilton Head Island. A reception followed also at the Westin.

Amanda Rose Wedding Planners planned and provided day of organization for the wedding and they did a fantastic job.  We also enjoyed working with the photography team from Blue Nalu photography.

We always keep our wedding video blog clear of any work we do for corporations such as promotion videos, product spots, training videos, etc, but this promotional video fits perfectly with our blog and may be of interest to many of our viewers so we figured we would post it.

We have always enjoyed the opportunity of working alongside Brantley and Richard Freeman with All Dressed Up Photography at various weddings we have worked together on. They recently approached us with an idea that was new to them but very familiar to us. That idea was a promo video to showcase their personalities, work, and work ethic to brides and grooms interested in their services.

With the internet being such a prevalent tool for many brides and grooms as they search for their wedding vendors, they felt that it was important for anyone visiting their website to not only see their work but also to have a instant feeling for what it would be like to have them as your photographer.

After a few hours of filming with Brantley and Richard and a good deal of time editing through all of the footage I am happy to show their promotional video.

Even though its not one of our wedding videos it still shows our dedication to high quality work and also shows a more upbeat style that we are capable of so we know that you will agree that it belongs here on our wedding video blog.

On 11.22.08 we had the privilege of working with Mande Brazell and Jonathan Bower on their special day. We had met them a few months prior just to get to know them a little better. It was apparent that they were meant to be together and that they were going to be a lot of fun!

The wedding ceremony was held at Asbury United Methodist Church in Columbia and the reception followed at Seawell’s. There was a quick dinner and then the party started and everyone had a blast. One of the many highlights of the evening was when Jonathan, his dad, and Mande’s dad got up on stage to sing “My Girl”.

The whole evening was great fun and the Tony Howard Band did a great job at keeping the party going… Honestly though, I think it would have kept going even if there was no music!! LOL
