Considering the song that is used in the video, 
I have to give some background info on how it was selected.
The week before the wedding we had a final conference call with Kameron and Andre. As we were finalizing the details “west coast rap” was brought up and in all honesty I took it to be a joke. We all cut up a little about it, laughed, and continued on.
After the call we sent them our musical questionnaire to fill out and when we got it back they had put a ton of their preferences on it, some of which included “west coast rap”, other artist, and Lady GaGa. VERY INTERESTING!!
As we shoot weddings I am always trying to keep the edit in mind and throughout the day I noticed that while both Andre and Kameron were very excited they were also very thoughtful and subdued. This “feeling” definitely wouldn’t pair well with a Lady GaGa song or west coast rap, so at this point I am thinking “what the heck am I going to use?”.
We moved into the reception and it was there that both Andre and Kameron really cut loose. So much so, that it really started making me think that maybe we could go for something more upbeat?
After getting home, we piled on the couch and who of all people was the musical guest on SNL? Lady Gaga!
As she opened one of her numbers, she put all the typical show away and sang “The Edge of Glory”, just her and the piano.
Have you ever heard a song so good that it made your cheeks tingle? Well that is exactly what happened… Not only were they tingling because of the awesome performance but also because I knew I had found Andre and Kameron’s trailer song.

A special thanks to Tom Chin with 701 Whaley and also the 701 Center for Contemporary Art. I had hoped to be able to use the 701 CCA area for some cool shooting time with Andre and Kameron, unfortunately though, they had closed during the ceremony. I was pretty bummed when I saw this and asked Tom if he could possibly allow us access to the area. He of course had to check with the owners but he was able to quickly do this and allow us in. We were pretty rushed but we were able to get a few really cool shots in there!! Thanks Tom and 701 CCA!!!
Andre and Kameron chose our 8 hour Artistic Style package, and will receive a full length, edited wedding video in addition to their wedding trailer shown above.

This brought tears to my eyes. Stay happy. Enjoy, keep it refreshed. Lovely, happy, interesting, prayful and watchful. We shall celebrate 44 years (beautiful years) this June 10th.

Andre and Kameron, as a dad, I am so proud of you guys. You did it right. I am looking forward Andre to having another son in the famly—now my three sons.
