Lynn and Brian’s wedding trailer

If you are a frequent visitor to the blog you have seen that we have been very busy this year. Well, because of this, when Lynn initially contacted us about her wedding we expressed how happy we were that she had contacted us but recommended that she check with a few other videographers as our books were literally full. A few days later Lynn came back and we, obviously, agreed to film her and Brian’s wedding and boy are we sure glad that happened.

Their wedding was the first one that we filmed at The Island House on John’s Island (we have filmed one other one since) and this venue is such a treat. Everything is literally right there at your fingertips and offers not only your typical Charleston flare with Oaks and moss, as well as a gorgeous view of the Stone River but also has some other aspects that are not typical at most other Charleston wedding venues, such as a seasonal flower garden and very cool cornfield.

Not only were we happy because of the venue but it was absolutely fantastic to get to know Brian and Lynn. They both were some of the most genuine and awesome people and it was literally a pleasure to be around them both from the second we arrived to the second that we left!

As we film each wedding we are always in tune with what is going on and looking for a specific moment that stands out as extremely powerful so that we can then craft that moment into the trailer and/or film. That moment at Brian and Lynn’s wedding was when her 92 year old grandfather read 1 Corinthians 13. I have a huge respect for elders and the wisdom that they offer and as this moment transpired on the wedding day it was not only evident that it was powerful to everyone involved but it literally grabbed me and sucked me in in a way that I almost have never felt before. Right then I started formulating how their trailer would “flow” and well.. You will just have to watch to see it!!

Lynn warned us that we would not be able to watch this without tears, and she sure was right! Her grandfather’s role in the ceremony was very special, and I love that he and his message of love are woven throughout the trailer. Hearing in their own voices the words that Brian and Lynn wrote to one another was very touching. No one could watch this video without seeing the deep love and devotion that the two of them share with one another. Truly a professional presentation of an endearing love story. Thank you.

That was just utterly true love and the most awesome wedding video/trailer I’ve ever seen. The words of Lynn’s grandfather throughout the trailer gave it so much more meaning than just music playing. What a special gift indeed. May Lynn and Brian live happily ever after!!!
