Matt Hogan and Lora Mitchell were married at The Cliffs at Glassy Chapel on 11.01.08. You may remember Patrick Hogan and Fallon Koon’s wedding trailer from back in July. Well, Patrick is Matt’s brother and we were so happy to have the opportunity to work with the Hogan Family for the second time this year.

Matt and Lora’s ceremony was at 5:00pm and was followed by an exceptional reception at the Wyche Pavillion in the heart of downtown Greenville. Sam from Life of the Party Dj’s did an awesome job with keeping the party going until he was literally made to stop at 10:00 due to a city sound ordinance. Laura and Matt visited with guests for a few minutes after that and departed around 10:30PM in a vintage Chevrolet Bel Air convertible restored to pristine condition.

Congratulations, Matt and Lora and thanks again for trusting us with such an important task. We hope you have a great time on your honeymoon.

CLIFFS AT GLASSY MOUNTAIN WEDDING

If you’ve been around our blog anytime recently it will come as no surprise that we work with SC Wedding photographers Clark and Becki from Clark Berry Photography a good bit.  

In July of 2007 we all met at a wedding.  It was immediately apparent that the way we work together was not typical of most photographers and videographers.   Not only did we enjoy the experience but we actually fed off of each other’s creativity.

After that wedding we met up with them and discussed some possible ways of working together more and possibly even integrating our services with one another.  

This year we have worked together at many weddings (with still more to come), and enjoy the opportunity of creating incredible visuals and stories with both photography and video.

Beyond work we have also become great friends with them.  Even though we worked together well that first time we met I can honestly say that we work together even better now and even plan creative ideas for jobs we are working together on way before the actual shoot.

Here is a promotional clip that we created for Clark and Becki out of a few of the shoots we have been together on.  We also have another video in the works that will present more wedding day material.

This golf outing was a part of Jon’s pre wedding plans that he wanted us to cover.  He took all of the special guys involved in the wedding out to Golden Hills in Lexington, SC.  It was a fun time for everyone.  In fact, I dont even know if I or anyone else that went knows who won because we were all having so much fun!! LOL   The song was chosen because of the golfing skills that everyone exhibited that day ;-0.  The sand, ponds, woods, peoples backyards or anywhere else other than the greens seemed to be the target for the ball.
